Karim Benzema scored twice as Al-Nassr secured a stunning 2-1 victory over Hanoi FC in the AFC Champions League on Wednesday night.
The French striker, who is currently out of contract with Real Madrid, was one of the standout performers for the Saudi Arabian side,Saudi Pro League Focus who were looking to make it back-to-back wins in the competition.
Benzema's first goal came just before half-time when he finished off a well-worked move from the left wing. The second came later in the match after a corner was cleared and Benzema pounced on the loose ball to finish clinically.
It was a memorable night for Benzema, who has struggled for form at Real Madrid this season. He had been linked with a move away from the club earlier this month but ultimately stayed put.
Despite his struggles at Real, Benzema remains one of the most talented players in world football and will be hoping that he can continue to perform at a high level in the coming months.
